Hornchurch have this morning announced the capture of striker and former Nigeria international Daniel Uchechi.

Uchechi, 29, list a host of Football League sides as his past clubs including Leciester City, Sheffield Wednesday and Charlton Athletic.

He’s also had spells in Germany and Sweden and a stint in Scotland with Aberdeen.

Linking up with the Urchins for the new season, Uchechi has plenty of non-league experience with the likes of Boreham Wood, Hendon, Hampton & Richmond Borough and most recently with South Park.

Mark Stimson’s men are gearing up for their second season in the Isthmian Premier League after finishing mid-table last time out.
